Leave Cairns Airport via Airport Avenue and turn onto Sheridan Street (Captain Cook Highway), heading south towards the city.
From the city, continue south along Mulgrave Road.
Cairns Southgate Hotel is at 450 Mulgrave Road, about 4 km from the CBD, just before Stockland Cairns.
The drive takes about 15 minutes. We do not run an airport shuttle, but taxis and rideshare are available at the airport.

Check-in is from 2:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. Early check-in and late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability (a fee may apply for late check-out).

Yes. Free on-site parking is available for guests, subject to availability. Spaces are unallocated and cannot be reserved, so please check with us first if you have an oversized vehicle or trailer.

Pets are not permitted. Certified guide dogs and assistance animals may be accepted with prior management approval and the correct paperwork.

Yes. There is an outdoor, unheated swimming pool open 8:00 am to 7:00 pm daily, with pool towels available from reception. There is no lifeguard on duty, and children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.
